How should I apply for a portrait photographer?
I am a young photographer. I have a Nikon D60, a flash, a 55-200mm and get reflectors folding. I have a real gift for art, and know how to get care professional photo. I've never done work for money, but thinking of sending a newsletter people know that I am available to do portraits. How much should I charge and what basis, over time, recorded, or both? Thank you.
Most photographers Pictures charge a "sitting" fee … $ 350 is not uncommon and include some packages as small as five prints of various sizes … can guarantee the shooting 12-24 images to select and then all additional prints are charged at the going rate in their area of marketing. As a company and a marketing tool, which want to call all professional education in your area and see what they are in charge … then pay the same for a few months and publish a% discount coupon with your advertising and newsletters. Later when you start to pay fixed and variable costs required to run a studio and have to plan for the recapitalization of your computer each 18-24 months, it will not break most of the time. Purchase of two new camera bodies every 18-24 months should be planned in advance and their pricing has include these costs.
