All that is required to complete the conversion is the replace your conventional bulb with the Nichia LED bulb that comes with the kit. That is all there is to it and you are ready to rip. This kit has a high rating, and I don’t think you will have any problems using it.
The Terralux LED conversion kit. This conversion kit is particularly impressive as it features a 3 watt Luxeon LED bulb and is compatible with any Maglite model flashlight that is designed with rechargeable batteries. This kit is really easy to use, and literally in a matter of seconds you can complete the bulb replacement and you are all set to go. Be careful with this kit and make sure using it will not void your current flashlight warranty. One issue that my arise is that after fitting the bulb you find that it does not work. What has most likely happened is that you didn’t fit the pins properly, and all that is needed is to reseat the bulb and the problem will be resolved.
The Opalec LED conversion kit. This kit is solely for the purpose of converting the Mini Mag from a standard incandescent bulb to the modern LED bulb instead. The way this kit has been designed is that it contains the bulb as well as a step-up type power supply needed to charge the bulb. The kit uses three white LED lights and also included is an indicator to let you know when you have a low power condition. The conversion kit also includes a scratch resistant lens and an adapter sleeve.
