There is no discernible difference between Brown and Blair’s policy agenda. I wouldn’t expect anything different under Brown to what we have now. The fact they do not get on so well should not be taken to mean they have anything like different ideas about policy. Together they are New Labour.
We would need a crystal ball to predict the possible relationship between an as-yet unknown future US president and UK prime minister.
I think it is unlikely that Cameron will be able to get any votes outside of the heartland outer London suburbs and home counties. His only hope is to carry on as he is with the PR offensive and come up with some policies just before the next election that catch the public mood in a way that Labour are unable to match.
